Got more ram for this 5-6 year old Mac Mini, its a tiny thing so I was nerdy and excited to see what it looked like on the inside. Check it out.

Yes, they are. But you bought one!

Not exactly, My dad liked then back in the 90s, when they were still called the full name Macintosh, I forget what the super old one he had was called. Then he bought the Very First Imac, and then this thing came out about 6 years ago and he got it.

Anyways Its been sitting around ever since he passed so I decided to dust it off and check it out.

The big drag about these out-dated Macs are the updates for this stopped at 10.3.9, and every program I have tried to get for this thing requires at least 10.5 (which required more ram than it had), and some programs require an intel CPU, and this has a G4, so this thing is limited. But hopefully I can find some graphics programs to play with, or I might just use this thing as a Media Server behind my 42" TV in the bedroom.

fixed it ^

LOL

Like I said before, I love my MACbook Pro and my iPhone but I realize everyone doesn't. A couple of my rules to live by....live and let live and to each his own.

I was just joshin' ya!

The only Apple product we own is our Itouch...I like it...but our oldest daughter uses it WAY more than Amanda and I ever have.

Yup I realize im not gonna change anyones mind about what they like thats not where I was going with that, and dont get me wrong I dont HATE apple. I HATE the pricing, I dont understand it at all.

And on a side note, my sister has been bugging me for a week or two about what kind of tablet to get, so I sold her my moms Ipad, and we went and replaced it with an White IPad2, pretty slick machine there.

They are expensive. But, I think some of the justifications are...

- OS upgrades only cost $29.99...forever
- ease of software sharing (no license keys)
- lack of viruses
- longevity
- dependability
- resale value

I'm gonna ask for a Mac desktop for Christmas or my birthday, hoping that might work out :D

Lol good luck with that one, if my desktop was a Mac it would cost 3500, but I built it for around 1000
