Yes you can, a buddy of mine dipd his wheels then painted em and they look good, that's what I'm gonna do.

as long as you cover everything real good with the PD, everything will peel off no problem, because the paint wont be adhearing to the rim itself, it will be laying on top of the PD which is on the rim and the PD is designed to be peeled off of whatever surface it is on.
