MY latest MOD & a COOL FREE gift!!!
Tee and I had NO plans on these last two magnums but got such a good deal, just couldn't pass 'em up and we decided these would be our everyday drivers ~ Hers = CHANCE the Black 05 R/T and mine = BLUE the Blue 05 R/T and we also said we are NOT going to spend any real money moddin' these two... but we did already have a bit of stuff to play with and put on them. OUR other magnums are NOT driven in any inclement weather ~ EVER (unless of course we were out and got caught in the rain)
Anyhow, I told TEE the only thing I really wanted besides changing the plastic shifter knob was the LARGE RED R/T grille emblem. Pretty expensive for just a plastic badge but VERY cool! Anyhow I called the dealer, ordered it and also order two windshield visor clips that had broken off.
Here is the new R/T badge; may install later today...
Here is what my other one looks like on my 05 Red R/T Magnum....
Since I'm there so OFTEN, most EVERYONE THERE knows ME and are very nice to me. Well one of their lead salesmen, named DAVE, (whom I've never ever bought a car from by the way), comes up to me and says "Hey Jim, I have been saving something for you that I thought you might like and with SIX magnums thought YOU deserve!" Then he hands me this.............
He told me when the brochures came for the 2011 new cars the lead manager only gave these to the long time salesman and gave DAVE two and he said he wanted me to have one....
It'a an iron on patch!!!!! What an extremely NICE thing for him to do!
