Default Plasti Dipped eyelids on BLUE & CHANCE
Yesterday Tee and I went out and spent the better part of the day masking and taping off the headligths on BLUE & Chance so we could try plasti dipping eyelids on both cars. And I was gonna try painting mine after with the paint code PB8 I got from O'reillys.

We started on CHANCE and I was surprised how really nice they looked... very close looking to her real eyelids she has on her Red R/T ANGEL.

Then we brought up BLUE and started with that car. We got the plasti dip on and then sprayed with the paint; looked OK, but some orange peeling affect probably because of the paint on the plasti dip. We started unmasking and the wind picked up and low and behold blew right on the eyelid... so we peeled it all off and started over. Remasked and resprayed but got a bad run this time in the plasti dip.... so we peeled off again and started for the third time. Finally got the plasti dip on, unmasked, let dry..... then later we remasked and painted the eyelids. Came out OK but still with the orange peel look ~ good enuff for ole BLUE.

Here are some pictures....

Here is how CHANCE looks now...

And here is how BLUE looks now...

Looks great hope it holds up, if not truly painting them on wouldn't be a bad idea, or buying some vinyl that matches and using it

Sent from my badass EVO on TapaTalk....

My Brother - Both Blue & Chance look great. Pretty soon they will be regular show cars and not your "Clunkers" as you call them. LOL
