So, almost everybody knows I have been looking for a rear bumper for my truck...find them on CL for around $50 or so, but they are either dented or the sellers dont respond to me. and a new chrome on is well over $250 plus shipping still.
But today, I was craving a Starbucks Mocha and pulled into the Sunoco to snag one, when a dude in an S10 pulls in behind me and says "Hey man, I see your bumper there, and I have an almost brand new one, I'll sell ya for $10"...I immediately think, yeah right, he's yanking my chain...go back out and tell the wife, she tells me to go hit up the ATM and look at it...so I go back in, the guy says he lives about a mile down the road and I follow him over there.
We get to his house and sure as shit, there is an almost brand new Chrome Ram bumper there, with the pads...absolutely NO DENTS, RUST or twists...even the mounting brackets look brand new...
Sorry about the book, but I am pretty stoaked about how this bumper found me...LOL
