If im not mistaken those wheels are plastic-chrome right? I dont think powdercoating is an option here.

I'm pretty sure the r/ts had the solid chrome, as opposed to the aluminum plastic capped chrome rims.

Nope - Chrome Clad..
But the whole point is I want to see what it looks like first on the vehicle before I do anything permanent.

Chrome Clad means it's an aluminum wheel with a plastic chrome looking overlay on the front. It's not a true chrome wheel. Pretty shitty of chrysler, especially becuase a replacement wheel is over 9 bills....

Man, I dont think really that the plasticoat will give you a TRUE idea of what they will look like...it would if you were looking to do satin black powder coat...and then you are gonna waste damn near $40 if you decide to peel it off later.
I would get a good pic and photochop it before I did all that.
