at minimum, time between sittings should be 1 to 2 weeks

Well then I would prove him wrong and make him pay for it because that is going to be an expensive tattoo. It'll be badass when it's done though.

The phoenix is one of the most popular tattoo designs ever. I have been wanting one for a long time. This particular design I haven't seen, it would look really good.
The phoenix has many meanings in chinese, japanese, ancient, christian and even western cultures. "Rebirth" is the most common meaning. In Chinese and Japanese cultures, the dragon and the phoenix represent the yin and the yang...or balance. The man (emperor) would have the dragon and the woman (emperess) would have the phoenix. It is more common today to see phoenix tattoos on women as opposed to men. And Nick, don't take that wrong as nothing is meant by it...just stating fact. I would still get one in a new york minute.

Good Luck on your new tat. Make sure you take some time between sittings. Try to be healed up so when they work on the same area it doesn't scar. It is going to be a beautiful tat. And full of details. I like it.

Good, it is tight! And if you've experienced a major life event(s), it has meaning and coolness...win win!
