The Public Defender along with Veterans Museum of Osceola, with support from the Department of Labor and Department of Defense is sponsoring a veterans stand down on November 11, 2011 at the Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee. There is no donation being asked other than your time.
The event provides free medical and legal services for homeless vets and vets in need.
There will be plenty of food and drink, and a DJ will provide music. The Florida BBQ Association is coming out for the event! In addition to our car show we will have a great BBQ cookoff.
In addition to the free legal, housing, and medical services, vets will receive back packs filled with personal care products and haircuts. I am asking members to come out and add their cars to show support.
