DJM is a good kit for the money, As far as tire size, I would think you should be alright. I am running 275/60's on 17x9" Indy/SS/T wheels.

Here is an Indy Ram with a 2/4 drop on 20s.

That truck is fukken awesome. Thanks. I might really look in to this. I calculated my tire compared to yours and there's not quite 2" difference.

Do you know if there is a difference between years? The DJM website shows a kit for 94-99 and a kit for the 2000. http://www.djmsuspension.com/applica...ge%20apps.html

The DJM 2/4 is $415 w/o shocks or $633 with shocks. If he could come close to that price I may really consider doing this. My tire size kinda concerns me still though. It's like a 31.9 inch tall tire.

Sounds good, Thanks. See what he thinks about tire size if you could too.

I lowered mine 2" in the rear with Ebay drop shackles. They were $50 and looked much better made then the stockers...lol
I plan on getting the front shackles to lower the rear another 2" then lowering the front 2" with lowering springs. Have you noticed any adverse affects from the drop springs?

I'm just afraid it'll move things beyond what the alignment can fix and eat tires to shreds. I also need new shocks as two of them went bad on me about a week ago. Random, but, yeah. I also got a rear sway bar off of a Ram 2500 dually...had to drill holes, but, it fit perfect and I noticed a difference...and for $20

Here's the before after...yes the one pic is flipped...lol

And here it was with the 20"s I ran for about a month. Black steelies

As I said...I'd like to drop it 2" more all the way around, and I think it'd sit perfect.

Also...I'd like to get a larger front sway bar...don't know where or how large though. I wonder if the Extended cabs or the 2500s had larger ones? Oh...and a poly bushing kit.

Also, in 2000, they went to a different front end design similar to what was then used on the Gen 3. Its completley different and uses 2 piston calipers for versus the older single piston, and is supposed to make the ball joints last longer due to the new design...angles...etc.

1994-1999 are all the same.
