Cory, do you have the resources to rebuild your engine? This can be cheaper and your get a lot of satisfaction.

eh.. minimal. tool wise thats no biggie, harbor freight, and northern tool will become my best friends. lol. i guess i could always get a small block magnum rebuild manual.
but after i tallied up the cost of gettin what i want done to my truck, im better of buying a new one.
not to mention im gettin sick of the 2 door thing, so im prolly gonna step up to a quad cab, and get a 360 already in it.
btw for those who are looking, the 5.2 318 is internally balanced, and the 5.9 360 is externally balanced, meaning, youll need a new torque convertor or flywheel thats weighted for the 5.9 360, and youll need a 5.9 360 harmonic balancer, as well as either custom tuning done via SCT, most recomend HemiFever, his web site is http://www.hemifevertuning.com/ or a new PCM for the 360, it should be a direct plug and play with the PCM swap, though im not 100% sure.

I understand, time for a new truck.
Storytime: About 15 years ago I helped a friend tear down a remanufactured engine that was in his old T'bird. When we started measuring the bores we found one cylinder that was odd, it was over bored something like .060. Apparently, remanufacturer's would only bore cylinders that need to be bored. I had been told this was common back in the 70's. I have no idea if this is still a common practice.
