you need more than just a supercharger though

so 5-6k for the supercharger
2-3k for supporting mods including the tune
then another 3k when the trans goes
the money stacks up fast ya see...

You can make that lost money up though if you go to the drag strip and start racing for cash. If you have a fast enough truck, it wouldn't be to hard to make up the money and maybe a profit to.

A truck is a truck. That's what it boils down to. A truck is made to haul and tow stuff and that is fine because that is what a truck is MADE to do. I had a ram and it was a great truck but no matter how much $$$ I was going to throw at it it would still not really be that quick and will NEVER handle well. Which is fine because its a TRUCK. You don't see people supercharging minivans and trying to make them fast because that is not what they are designed for. Just think the fastest cars in the world are CARS lol. How many trucks can go 250mph?

ok... Just so the records cleared up.
Powerdyne bd11a kit with 3 pulleys - $1400
port/polish/gut, heads-tb-spacer-intake- $800
hemi fever custom written tunes - $50.. Thanks patrick.
Rebuild trans with kevlar ish - $1000\
.508 cam - $399.99.
Headers - $400
roller rockers - $175
handheld tuner - $150 thanks patrick.

And i payed 800 for the truck from the auction.

See what im sayin?
