Here you go Greg. It's actually about 2700-2800 when shifted into 5 and about 2400 when shifted out. The raise in rpm(to 3000) you see is when I shift it out of 5

Thinking about putting the exhaust back on. Gone through $170 of gas since monday and only gone about 500 miles. So with gas costing $3.60 a gallon for 89 that's 47.2 gallons which means about 10.6 mpg even though my evic average is saying 14.5. I haven't reset it in a couple of weeks so that's not the issue and the whole time the evic has been reading between 14 mpg and 16 mpg for my average. Only real thing I've done to the evic was pull the negative battery cable about a month ago cause leaving school my average went from 15 to 14.4 in about half a mile without hitting the reset button so I thought it was a glitch. Thinking that dumping the exhaust might have caused an exhaust leak so hopefully putting the exhaust back on and pulling the negative battery cable again will solve the issue

You should be getting way more than 10, or even 15, unless you are driving it that crazy. Hell I get 15, with MDS you should be getting what I get at least

I keep it under 3000 rpm the majority of the time. Except I've been opening it up a little more this tank which is why I went from 16 to low 14s mpg. It's not the 14ish mpg that worries me though. It's that my evic is reading higher than I'm getting
