I'll try to get a good baseline run before installing the headers, I'm expecting good things from the headers.

What kind of time are you expecting for your baseline?

My best 0-60mph has been 5.97, after I changed the cat I got a 6.2. So I figure something in the low 6 range.

Well, things didn't work out like I had planned and didn't get a baseline. So now with the headers, dual cats, and cam installed I finally made a couple passes. The problem is shifting. I'm a clutz with the damn lever and can't seem to get a consistant shift. I'm trying for a 6200 shift point but have hit my 6400 limiter a couple of times. The engine is really pulling and I may move the shift point up. My AeroForce shift light is too slow to rely on. Need a shift light and floor shifter to nail the shifts the way I want. Out of 4 runs this is the closest I have to getting it right.

That's a good time. Once you get that shift dialed in you will probably be even faster.

Jason, talk is talk but I feel just getting a decent launch and a shift she'll go 5.3. We will see. I'm trying for Richmond tomorrow but it is not looking good with the weather.

Really old thread, but maybe we can get it back alive!
I used a 0-60 calculator that uses 1/8th mile time and trap speed to calculate 0-60. Putting the numbers in from my 14.56 run a couple weeks ago, it says my truck did it in 5.81 seconds
Here it is if anyone else wants to try it out

It might be off by a few tenths but I imagine it's pretty close. Probably anywhere from 6-6.5 second range on the street. Still not to bad!
