Only heard about this car show yesterday while at our local O'Reillys and they gave me a flyer. I decided to go today because it was for a local 15 yr old girl that got hit by a car and it was to help with the familys' medical cost. I got their early and only about a dozen cars and was dissapointed, (at first), for the family...... THEN.... about 120 low rider trucks and cars showed up, a bunch of DONKS and THREE new cars; a newer corvette, a Trans Am Firebird and ME!
Had a wonderful time and met a bunch of nice folks. I did meet some folks that came only to look and parked on the street that had some newer LXs so I did get to give out some CARDS!
At the days end.... was thinkin'.... HEY... I kinda felt with all the low riders I didn't belong but low and behold "Walla" they called my name as one of the 25 cars that got awards ~ VERY COOL!
The awards were even made up by the daughters family and are NOT trophies but still very cool and met a lot to ME!
OH.... and I had ONE Black Gentleman that begged me to sell HIM "LUCKY", my red R/T! LOL ~ He used to have ONE and when he saw the calendar with all SIX of ours on there he said to ME ~ YOU can spare ONE can't YOU~~~ NO WAY ~LOL~
Now for some pictures....

Very cool Jim congrats on the trophy [er card, er ?] hope the child is ok our prayers to the family. Lowriders and donks are ok if that is your type of car customizing, different strokes fer different folks.

Me.... well I honestly did NOT see a car or truck there that I didn't like. I love all kinds of vehicles and love to see how each person does their own thing to their ride. (Also SEE MY SEM magnum on my door?) Got to give out THREE more cards today......so we'll see!
And I didn't even realize it until I looked at the pictures of the DWI Check point sign next to my car. I was parked right next to the local police department booth ~LOL~ As LONG as they were BESIDE ME and NOT BEHIND ME!

That personal trophy they made means more to you than some of your monster hardware. It is awesome to help out a family in need. Congrats Bro !!!!

Yeah, it IS pretty cool; all the trophies were cut out of metal and painted and labeled by the FAMILY. The best engine got three pistons welded together and all the top club attendance awards were very cool Metal cutouts too.
