Lol i got it. I will post some pics of what the problem was later. The directions they gave me are completely WRONG. Your Cummins site is correct! When I followed the wrong directions given it caused the little red piece inside the OEM harness to get stuck in the male end of the cap. This is what was making it impossible for me mock what your pics showed. Should be all good now. THANKS!

lol good to hear I was about to say if you cant follow the hids for dummies then that must make you a dummie lol jk Glad its working Hopefully pics to follow soon. Now time to tell how many times you get flashed going down the road. If you get alot of people flashing you as in high beams and low beams you might want to try to aim them down. If they are flashing you with body parts....well..... its up to you weather or not to adjust them lol

I think I actually need to adjust them up. So far these are not nearly as bright as my DDM kit but that was a different truck so the actual head lamp could be the difference there.

I will send you mine lol. I'm prob gonna take them out. Might just be these trucks but I am not happy with the light output at all. My halogen bulbs projected light out further and brighter than these and the Hidextra 6000k's are VERY blue almost annoying compared to others IMO. Might try 5000k or 4500k bulbs (or whatever the next temp down is) and see if I can get them brighter. I angled the headlights multiple times and still feel like I am straining to see what's in front of me.

Just out of curiosity what Kelvin are you guys with Hidextra kits running?

I noticed the sand thing with my wife's hid kit. Same wattage, both are 6000k and hers seem dimmer and bluer than mine do

I guess I'll be returning mine to HIDExtra because I do NOT want lights that look blue. Maybe the 5000K are the ones that are more white.

Drew, did you order 35 or 55 watts?
