WOW, Clar Barring is a B*#^%!!!!
Tee and I went shopping for our Grandson Dylan as tomorrow is his birthday and we are heading to my daughters for His Birthday. We decided we'd just take the two lowered cars, Her DEMON and my car CHANCE. We sure got a lotta cool looks today. We just washed them up the best we could BEFORE we left.
A couple of pictures....
Then.....
When we got home Tee decided she'd go in and do laundry. I had bought some liquid Clay Bar and wanted to detail up CHANCE, the car we just got... it really needed it bad. Looks as though it had been a LONG time since a really good detail. When I read the instructions on the clay bar, I did NOT know that AFTER clay barring you then had to wax all over again. Took me about four hours today, but I think it was well worth the work.
A few pictures....

Yeah, the actual clay bar is better than the liquid stuff I used and I do need to get some of that for THIS car as the body is pretty rough, but for now it's looking oK... didn't really have that much time. Nice video!

Great job Jim. Clay Bars are good stuff, I try and do it once a year or so.

Very nice, I clay bar every detail. Isnt too bad IMO, since I've done it soo many times. I can clay the whole truck in about 30-45mins then wax it in about 30 mins.

Thank you guys, I take great pride in EVERY car we own... It is very hard to keep up however. We have 8 cars licensed and on the road. This is just FUN for Tee and I and is what we BOTH enjoy doing. I keep a log book in EVERY car and also keep EVERY receipt for each car in separate manila envelopes. Best way to keep up with all the rides! Tomorrow, after my Grandson's birthday party, I'll be back doing some more work to it!
Not really too bad for 148,000 miles! I'm loving it!!!
