Default My New Career Deal...
Okay as some of you all know, and for those that dont.
I have been looking for a better job in my career field as a electro-mechanical technician. I currently work for a mom and pops operation that seemed well when i got the job, well as usual honeymoon stage wore off, and they didnt hold up to their end of the bargain. Yes i was happy i had a job, but its not what i wanted and at this point is just merely paying my bills, let alone the amount of gas i go through....ugh....So this leads me to the fact that i had sent my resume to a company some of you may know about, Johnson Controls. They called me to take a test, not your normal test. 189 questions pertaining to my field, wow. A few days later called and asked me to fill out and app for that position online, and come in for a interview. That lasted 3.5 hrs, met with 2 engineers, the supervisor and a lead technician. A day or 2 later offered me a job with the company starting May 7th. This is a great company with awesome benefits and great did i say great pay, with loads of o/t and room for growth. I am super stoked to know that I am now in a great company with the ability to grow and learn loads more than what i went to school for, let alone finally apply it. Just a tid bit of info for all yall, the batteries in our vehicles ALL but exide are made by Johnson Controls, let alone other products used by many professionals. I train on first shift and then move to second for now...so excited cant wait to make real money that i was promised when i started school for my career field......
