Default Steering Column Removal
I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THIS
the orig author is pcp from DT

pic are bad, it's a cell phone sorry.
I’m going to get to removing the dash but I thought it would be to long so I’ll show the column first and the another thread on the dash.
First thing is to disconnect the battery cable and wait 20 min. ( when ever doing anything with air bags )
Remove the knee bolster under the column. Two screws. If you need help with this, stop right there!! Lol

Pull the black handle for the tilt. If you’re sitting in the seat just grab it and pull toured you ( real hard, It wont break ) or pull the tilt down and pull toured the floor.

Pull the 3 torx screws in the column cover. #15
Unplug all the wires and the shift cable.

Now we are looking at the column coupler. It’s a 13 mm bolt.

Next is the 4 bolts that hold the column up also 13 mm deep.

At this point you are ready to fish the column out.
This should only take you 15-20 min.
