Granatelli Dual Window switch
The Granatelli Dual Window Switch install information that came with the unit and the website have conflicting information. I called them and they where very helpful in providing the following information.
There are eight wires on the unit and it goes like this:
Note: not all the wires need to be connected ie, tach output, RPM input hi or lo and TPS. Depending upon setup and use.
1. Red= 12vdc input
2. Blk= Grnd
3. Purple= Sw1
4. Blu= Sw2
5. Grn= TPS input
6. Org= Tach output
7. Yel= RPM input 12v
8. Wht= RPM input low voltage
Hope this helps anyone installing the window switch.

Well here's my opinion about the dual window switch. Their instructions for installing the switch are unuseable. Their customer support is excellent which makes up for it. Their representative actual told me to throw the instructions that came with the unit in the trash. Here is what you need, but disregard the name and the wire colors and just follow the instructions but with the connections as stated above in a previous post.

The install took all day mostly because of the confusion, so again this product is mostly installed by folks who have experience. It ain't difficult but again if you don't know certain things, then you will not know what to do.
The window switch once setup works great. I set it for 1000 rpm to close a standard 30 amp relay. Cut the PWR Steering Pressure Sensor wire and ran it to the relay. This makes the PCM see a high pressure signal and raises the rpm to about 800 rpm. This is not a fixed rpm as it slowly slides down to about 675 rpm. Rev the engine again and the process starts over again. I think this will work great with a bit of an unruly cam. It does not hinder driviblity in any way.

Kevin,
There are not many options to raise the idle on a 03. While studing the manual and drinking more than a few beers I came across what I thought might help. The power steering pump has a pressure sensor switch that is normally closed. When the PCM senses high pressure such as when parking, it raises the idle to compensate for the load. The window switch opens the sensor circuit signaling the PCM to raise the idle. When the engine reaches 1000 rpm it returns the signal to normal condition. When the engine drops below 1000 rpm it opens the switch and the idle holds at 800 rpm and slowly slides down to about 675 rpm. I think this will make a cam normally not suitable for a 03 tunable.

The dual switch is actually two switches and can be used for a number of things from nitrous, 2 stage nitrous, shiftlight, water injection anything you want activated by rpm and TPS input. Can also be setup to be triggered when the throttle is lifted. This is a very sophisticated switch mostly used for nitrous.
