So I'm in the slow process of getting rid of some, if not all, of the chrome on my truck. Grill shell, front/rear bumpers, and mirrors will be getting pd'd next week. If I like it, they'll get professionally sprayed or powdercoated. If not, I'll peel it off and leave it alone.
What I'm wondering is, when I get to the front bumper, should I just do the chrome or should I do the lower cover and two inserts too? There's a few black rams around here that looks like they rattle canned theirs and it looks extremely cheap.
So what do y'all think I should do? Black her out, or leave her be?

If you want to black her out, then I would try to find the bumpers and mirrors from a Sport Ram. Mine is green and the bumpers are green also. The mirrors are the stock black. It should be easy to find a black Sport Ram for parts or go to LMC.com. They have everything your Ram would need.

Hating chrome I think is a generation thing, just like black rims. Personally I can't get into that look. It just doesn't look good to me. But it's your truck and needs to feel special to you and if you think blacked out is the look you want then I say go for it. Just do it professionally as possible. Anyway, that's my opinion, Good luck

Black all the way baby. The plastic pieces on the front bumper arent hard to make look good. I did my rear bumper covers and im really happy with the way it turned out. Its all the the prep and the time you spend on it.

I'll be ordering a new lower bumper cover eventually. Mine has a few clips broken and a couple pretty deep gouges on the drivers side from the previous owner.
I've got a buddy that's got a paint and body shop that I'll get to do the work for me.

Stormtrooper?
