Default That sucked...
So I went out to my truck after school to leave and guess what, it was dead. Well I left the lights on behind my grille all day. Had my friend take me home and get some jumper cables, went back and jumped it. Got it started but it wouldn't stay running without keeping it revved up. So I drove home with my foot on the gas the whole time. Got it in the garage on the charger now, hoping it'll charge up and isn't shot. I'll let you all know later when it gets done charging

Driving lights are easy to leave on. I would recommend you connect them through an ignition "keyed" source. The lights should already be going through a current relay and you can route your switch that activates this relay to be powered from a "keyed" source. Simple fix.

The switch (trigger) doesn't draw much current to operate the relay so it can come off of something like the radio or find something in the fuse box that is ign controlled.

Yeah I'm gonna be doing that pretty soon... There is a blue ignition wire that I'm gonna wire it into

Just went outside and started it up, it did good! Let it idle for a minute and had no problem! Let's just hope it stays that way

You could do what I did and get an add-a-fuse and run it off your cigarette lighter fuse. No wire splicing at all this way
