Installed - Fatmat'd ENTIRE Floor
Well I decided before the season starts that I'll get some mods done. One of them is finishing up installing fatmat to the floor and roof. I decided to hold off on the roof, due to the headliner being a pita to take out, so I'm doing the entire floor and door jams. If you look, you'll see my other thread on fatmat'n all 4 doors outer shell, entire trunk, decklid, rear fenders and rear deck. That made a huge difference already with my stock mtx system, road noise and made all parts covered solid. You can hear the diff when you close the doors.
Here are a few pix with the interior floor gutted out,
Will be vacuuming today and wiping area clean. Should be starting laying fatmat down later today and hope to finish by the weekend.
I also recently bought a used VES, which came with a broken harness, which was a pita and had to swap harness blocks. All is good and worked awesome.

Hey Jimmy how much does that stuff run? I am considering doing my entire interior with it. I have also heard peal and seal from Lowes works well too.

I have always been a fan of fatmat, the same thing as dynamat but much more economical and it just looks great in my opinion. Great job putting it in there Jimmy it looks great.
And Patrick that stuff is much more economical than dynamat, here is a link to their site, it depends on how much you want and the thickness, thats where the prices will vary a lot
http://www.fatmat.com/
I want to fatmat the whole enterior of my 1962 Galaxie, I've had that idea for a pretty long time now, so as soon as I get a little extra cash flow and finish up all the metal work that needs to be done (just a few minor touches) I will see if i get that in there.
