Local CL score
Picked up a new front bumper cover and step pad for 30$, gonna take it to go get painted tomorrow. Mine is destroyed from bug guts and rock chips.
Question for you guys, how does the bumper cover come off? Is it just the screws on each side and a bunch of clips?

yes D its the 2 on each side, the pad on top is clips and the insert in the chrome has these screw clips that are a lil pain in the ass but they come out, then the top just comes up....

Man that turned out to be a pain, the step pad was really easy to pull off and the side screws too. But the 4 plastic screws at the bottom were all weathered and brittle and my screwdriver just tore the shit outta them, I ended up drilling them out. It was a pain but I got it off and got the new one on pretty easily.
I know most of you have never seen the truck in person but the front cover was all scarred up with bug guts and chips and scratches from the previous owner, its not something that you can see right away but if you are close it sticks out pretty good. Ive been wanting to get it repainted so I jumped on the chance at this price.
Anyways here are some close up pics of what it looked like:
And here is the new one with fresh paint:

Looks great, I fully understand how something like that can bug you. I am totally anal over stuff like that.
Well done!
