Default Doing rear brakes
just ordered another set of brake motives Powerstop drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads, for the rear this time, im still really happy with my fronts i ordered 1.5 years ago, my rears are toast so i gotta do it, mod money turned repair money....but make every repair better right....

I envy you guys with rear discs...I absolutely despise doing rear drums...I always have to snap a pic of how the springs are set up before taking them apart.

I need to do this too, my right rear has been glazed over since I paid the local guys to do them but they musta used the cheapest stuff available, they allready turned them to fix the glaze but it came right back. I think later this summer I am gonna order the entire kit from brake-motive.

I plan on painting the calipers and the surfaces not touched by pads on the disks

our drums arent bad, just do one side at a time. and get the brake spring pliers too. hell if i could id ride over and give you a hand doin them.

Mine are good lol...I just hate doing drum brakes period...last time I had to do any is when I replaced the wheel cylinders on my S10...what pissed me off the most was the way GM made the wheel cylinders to the backing plate on the rear...it was just a pressure clip, thats all, no bolts. It literally takes 3 hands to get the pressure clip over the grooves in the new cylinders.
