why we hate hypertech thread
i bought my hyperpac from hypertech a few years back when it was the latest and greatest but i no longer use it and was looking to sell it. but they lock your vin so if you want to sell it you can pay a fee of 200.00 to unlock it or if i were to use it on another vehicle that i owned it would cost me 100.00 to use it. this is such shit and show a total lack of cs. i have my original receipt, box and everything but for the ability to use it on something i have to pay the again. they told me the owner designed the hyperpac and didnt think of people selling it down the road. but now that reality has set in your stuck with a 499.00 paper weight unless someone wants to pay hypertech 200.00 on top of what you would want for the device. you would be better off getting a diablo or waiting for the superchips vivid. you can sell those later if you want. i will never buy a hypertech product again and you should be commited to the idea of keeping it forever if you decide to. rant over

There isnt anything you can do about it now except for future reference never buy from them again, which will hurt them in the long run the more the people realize how they are running their business with the programmers

wow, what a bunch of assholes, shit like that will really hurt a company in the long run anyways, the more that people become aware of that the more business they will lose and maybe one day be left with the decision to shape up or get out but only time will tell. It really pisses me off the companies that dont give a crap about them screwing people over and that their single most important thing is to make money.

$200 to unlock it is nuts. No wonder hypertech has such a small market share.
