2nd Gen old dash Double din???
Anyone know of some being done and where I could find some pics. Have a 1996 and looking to install a double din in it. Thanks.

I would check with Weedahoe (TrickedOutDodgeRam on FB). I know he does 3rd Gen's, not sure about 2nd's though.

I think youre gonna end up having to cut your dash out...that's if it isnt all busted up already in there. I remember when I pulled mine out, i didnt think there was much room in there for a DD HU.

It's gonna be a big job to put a DD in our older trucks. You'd basically have to make an entire custom dash to fit it since the cup holders would have to be removed and filled in.
I've seen it done with the 99-01 dash but there's a little more room to work with behind there

Its for my buddies show truck. He said he knows a guy that all he has to do is cut the bezel and nothing else and the DD will fit with out any issues. Him and I have looked everywhere and cant find anyone with the same style dash and a DD. I guess we will just have to trust his buddy to do what he says he can do. He is getting a Pioneer 4400 with back up camera and all the goodies. Only 420 brand new.

I've been considering the 4300 but saw that the 4400 was coming out, and I've decided that's probably the route I will take. Where is he getting the 4400 with camera and goodies for $420?

Its hard to commit to by when they add new features and drop in price every 6 months. I think im stuck on this
