Scrounging in the GARAGE!!!
Decided today just to wash (for the 1st time), our new car CHANCE. Really wanted to check out the body condition etc. It has TONS of fine scratches all over the car, however the body is pretty good, couple minor door dings. Since the back hatch was really the worse part, spent a couple hours or more using polishing compound about four different coats then waxed; not perfect, but much better!
Since I did NOT want to spend ALL DAY just polishing then waxing I decided I'd just go into the garage and do some scrounging... There is just so much stuff in there and found some really cool things. Found some new aluminum pedal kits that I had stored, tons of vinyl stickers from car clubs I belong too and vinyls from vendors from products I had purchased from them. Also found a whole box on new shift knobs, even a steering wheel "sucide knob". Found two new leather shift boots ~ I have one om my SRT Magnum just to make mine look different. Found some new steering wheel covers, found my TWO extra "talking alarm" systems.... even some new air fresheners.... Guess I'll spend some more time in there tomorrow and maybe put some more things on CHANCE!
Here is just a quick picture of Chance washed up and looking somewhat better. (See the red clay stains on the wheel wells already?) Exactly WHY we DON'T drive our better cars in that stuff!
