Building my first PDW-15
PDW=Personal Defense Weapon, I called it that cause the govt can own or order 7k PDW but want civilians to get rid of or not be able to have there "assault weapons". ANYWAYS....
I have started ordering parts for my build, yes some are expensive and some not so expensive. I wanted to build my rifle the way I wanted it instead of buying a built one to then spend more money to modify it.
My Idea for this build is a 16" barrel, 14" hand rail(FDE), MagPul FDE furniture, Streamlight TLR-1 light, and maybe an optic later down the road. Keeping it stripped from all kinds of gear, sweet and simple.
I started with a Code Red Firearms stripped lower, wait time was about 8 weeks when ordered. Im still 5 weeks out Im sure. Sucks yes but for a reasonably priced lower Ill wait, unless AEROPrecision drops there prices back down Ill then have 2.
I then ordered a AEROPrecision stripped upper receiver, being delivered today.
I bought and already received some MagPul FDE flip down F/R sights.
A good friend as donated a lower parts kit and fire control group, not sure on quality but itll work for now.

I own guns, this just my first AR15 build.
My AEROPrecision upper came yesterday. A nice piece, very lightweight, and great precision on all the cuts.

Re: Building my first PDW-15
Usually ammoman.com but everywhere is hit or miss with the current shortage. That thing is sweet looking. A good place for info is ar15.com. like any forun it can burn up your cc.
Im trying Trace, I keep missing parts when they are instock, but im also being picky what I buy.
I have cancelled my code red order they keep pushing delivery dates out further.
I have 2 serbu lowers being built, if I can get my hands on a seekins ill have a serbu for sale. Most of my parts im looking at are seekins. With the exception of magpul and my midwest industries rail.
