Opinions on Mickey Thompson wheels
Found a set of their classic II's on cl this morning for $400 with tires. Probably gonna pick them up if they're in good shape. Anyone have any experience with their wheels? The guy says they need to be polished but if I get them, they'll be black before they hit my truck anyways
Here's a pic of the wheels from google

What size are they, and will they fit your truck?

They're 16x10's and are listed as a 5-lug dodge bolt pattern. The seller has the same size tire mounted on them already so if I do decide on them, I'll take a jack and 4-way with me just to be safe

Being lifted you have more flexibility with wheel selection. What do you use for backspacing, 4.5 inches?

I think so? I'm still running the factory wheels but I still rub my upper control arms on full lock.

As long as the back spacing isnt too much, I'd say get them...you run too much backspacing and you will be replacing wheel bearings alot...lol...

Adam you thinking backwards. The stock wheels probably have something like 5.5 inch BS and that is why he's rubbing. 4.5 inch bs will move the wheel out and will clear the A arms.

Internet is down at the house so I'm stuck with the phone but from what I see online, they only made this style wheel with 4.5" backspacing. This should be enough to fix the rubbing.
