Update
So I want to update you all on what's been going on with my Dakota R/T.
Took it to the track the weekend before last and ran a new personal best of 14.063 @ 98.13
My newest plan to do now is add a 100 shot of nitrous to the mix
According to some of the R/T guys, I could potentially see low to mid 12's with a shot of nitrous added to the mods I already have. My plan is to have it all hooked up and going by spring, just in time for the new season.

Thanks! New lifters, pushrods, valve springs, head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets are gonna be installed within the next couple weeks. This will give me the peace of mind knowing that the motor will be able to hold up to the extra power with no problems. Then all I'll have to do is hook up the nitrous!

Great time and good luck with the NOS. That is the way to enjoy your truck.

It's crazy how much of a gear head I've become just in the past year… Haha
I have plans of completely tearing this truck down to the bare chassis and building it back from the ground up. But that's at least 3-4 years down the road, so I'm doing upgrades to the current engine now to make sure it'll last me til then.
Also going to be installing a driveshaft loop when we do all the other work in a couple weeks. Then she'll be ready for the strip

Sounds like fun and a great plan you have formulated. A couple of weeks ago I took my supercharged 300SRT (663RWHP dyno'd) to our local track; sorry to say really disappointed to say the least. Just kept baking the tires and two things happened; hit the rev limiter and then into limp mode. This is on street tires though, but have been told by some of those in the know that I need to update shift RPMS with my Diablo tuner.
