All day moddin' from stuff we got at the SHINDIG
Today I went out and put Tee's new BigBully catch can with the offset bracket on her 300SRT. Then I removed the radiator plastic covers, put adheasion promoter on them and got them primed. From there we had to slightly modify her firewall cover, got it all lined up, sanded and primed today. Hopefully tomorrow it'll be nice so I can paint them "HUGGER GREEN" to match the rest of her stuff. I also have a spare plastic radiator resevoir to prime and paint ~ haven't started on that yet.
Then onto my Test Mule car "BLUE" and wired up and installed some plastic air horns, install the switch in the little circle on the underside of the steering wheel and degreased and detailed the engine on Blue....

Went out today and got them painted; now I'll wait a couple of days for the paint to cure before installing and then post pictures.

Our daughter came over today for DAD to help with the first oil change and check up on a 2001 Suburban. Picked up everything at Auto Zone today and began; did NOT know this truck with the 5.3 L took six quarts. After I finished I degreased and then detailed up the engine; looks brand new. Had to change out a bad light bulb on one of the brake lights and help her wash and shammy. Looks great they just put 26" wheels on it and I took it down the road, rides much better than I thought it would.
Then I went back to working on the MODS for Tee's 300 SRT. Looks really nice IMO. I'll add pictures when they get downloaded.
