Monday night, I took a trip down to the city with my best friend to pay our respects. It was a yearly tradition before I moved to Florida, and we picked up where we left off. Since we couldn't make it down on the 11th, we went on the 10th, and here's some pics.
Driving Down the West Side Highway
Parked a Few Blocks Away
We Stopped at a Pub on the Walk Over to Have A Drink - Left This on the Paper Tablecloth
Coolest Part of the Night - Hundreds, if not, Thousands of Bikers All Gathered in Queens, and Rode Over Together. They Lined Every Street in the Area, and all the Sidewalks.
Some Shots of the Freedom Tower
Building Across The Street With a Huge Flag (Flag is Appx 25 Stories Tall)
Awesome! Too bad you couldn't get into the Memorial, I know they blocked off a couple of days from the public. Would be something to see that tower lit up like that in person!
