Guess what I'm doing?
Got this little car show tomorrow and the county decide it was time to resurface the road to my house with tar a and gravel. What a mess!

Ouch, way back in the day a couple of my friends drove over some freshly laid asphaly and spent their weekend with diesel fuel and gasoline to get it off their tires.

I am not a paint guru, but I've been using WD-40 which is doing a really good job of removing the tar. Going over the body I'm finding a lot of little scatches which surprises me as I am completely anal about how and where I park. Found a branch scatch on the upper door post and my little dog has scatched the passenger door telling me she wants to ride. I used my power ball with scatch remover and the claybar to finsh it up. Pretty much removed all of it. Will wipe down the interior in the morning before heading out.

Greg - have a good time at the show. Sorry for all the work the county made you do. It will be worth it though.

Thanks for the support, I don't know what classes they will have, but I'm figuring in street truck or modern street. Any thoughts?

They did my road last year and used way too much small gravel so no Tar (thank god) but the gravel is still washing off the road, sticking in tire tread, and making it hard for traction.
