Door chime...
Is there a way to get my damn door chime to shut up when I have the key in the switch...I like listening to music with the door open if I'm outside and the chime is ruining my AC/DC

lol you can take the module off the back of the dash cluster, but that might mess other things up

Yea Daniel I've read where others have done that but then some had gauge lights light up saying that something was wrong...and then others have lost all the chimes which would be bad if i left my parking lights on. On an old 95 gmc that I used to drive I could stick a sharpie in between the door frame and the little push button that was on the door and thy would fix it on that truck...ours don't have that so I'm looking for a temporary way to do it...idk if there is such a way with our vehicles.

Isn't the wire one that just registers when the door is latched fully shut?
