New picture of TODAY's mods to CHANCE!
/Finally a few minutes to download todays pictures.......
Started the day off working on Tee's DEMON car; fog light connector was gone, just put a new one on ~ good to go. Then when she started the car her stereo amp quit working.... I'm NOT a stereo guy, and amp was working, then not, and on, and then finally nothing???
After that I got Chance and began to start under the hood. Checked all fluid levels... all looked GREAT! First pulled the engine cover and it really was not that bad, a little grease but mostly just dusty.
After degreasing, then blow drying with my air compressor, let dry and then sprayed with Engine Detail Spray! Ran a few minutes and this stuff flows into all the cracks and crevices.
*Then added the ABS Brake Cover.
I could have run the hose to the CAI but chose to add the little air filter instead.... just think it looks nicer...
After that, added my K&N CAI that I had on my SRT for a couple of hundred miles 'cuz I replaced that with the LegMaker "Hammer Design" Carbon Fiber one.
Finally the final detailing to finish it up.
After all of this I headed to Wal-Mart to get two "Valet" keys to just unlock the doors. WOW, this car impresses the heck outta ME, how really strong it runs with 148,000 miles. It seem to feel "seat of the pants better with the CAI and sounds so much better ~ Nice growl at take offs NOW. It runs as good as both or other two R/Ts that about 50,000 miles on each of them.

Nice!!! What kind of engine detaling spray did you use? I was looking for some in Autozone Sunday and could not find ANYTHING...I was gonna use tire shine stuff, but in looking at all Autozone had to offer all of them contained silicone, which I was brought up to NOT use under the hood as it can throw off sensors.

Shoot, didn't even look at the brand; it was right by the degreasers in AutoZone and the only type they had at the time. Didn't look to see if it contains silicone. Just don't spray it on the alternator!
