O/D button
As most of you know I don't always do things the easy way. Well I think you will like what I have done. Red is a SXT base model and believe me over the years as I have added stuff I have continuiously found the wires missing. So when I added the SLT interior i had to wire most of the extra's myself. The steering wheel is out of a SLT Laramie with all the bells and whistles. I never wired the remote radio controls up mostly because the wiring harness wasn't there. So when i installed the floorshifter I found i needed to relocate the O/D switch since the column shifter was taken out. I didn't really like my options, and thought, why not use the remote radio switch on the steering wheel? There are some good reasons not to, one being the missing wiring harness. So I took it all apart and wired into the clockspring plug and connected the O/D wires, WaLa the O/D operates off the button on the back of my steering wheel. It doesn't get any cleaner then that. I think I'll have a beer....
