I dont think its a problem as of now, but you do raise a vailid point I will discuss with Jay tomorrow.
As we get more populated, we will certainly want to maximize the sites bandwidth.

well i did the limit of 25 per post however it doesn't use the bandwidth of the forum but facebooks.
and since most people dont use 56k anymore the last page should have only taken a second or two to load. at least it did for me while i was downloading, which uses 85% of my download and upload bandwidth
