Line Pressure Booster
This is the Transgo style LP booster using a 4.7 k resistor 1/4 watt. The resistor can be bought at Radio Shack for something like 5 in a package for $2. The LP sensor is located on the passenger side rear of the transmission. There are three wires connecting to the sensor.
BK - sensor ground
GY/LB - 5v sensor voltage
VT/TN - signal to the PCM
The resistor is placed between the GY/LB and VT/TN wires. I simply remove the tape and seperate the wires, strip the insulation back on both wires and connect the resistor. Solder the connection and retape the area for a premanent insolation. Or while you are at RS you can buy some plugs and make it removable. Your choice.
This mod will increase normal cruise pressure of 35 psi to 125 psi.
