Update: The sweetness went away. I discovered a quick way to determine when a crank position code pop's, turn on you cruise control and when the crank code pop's it'll drop the cruise control. It isn't constant, so dealing with it is a bit of a challenge. Seem's it is heat sensitive. I got the new sensor installed and took it for a 10 mile run and it didn't throw a code. So I'm being hopeful that it was indeed the sensor. This actually surprises me some even though the wiring is dead simple. What I don't know is how the 5vdc sensor supply voltage is distributed. If they come from a common internal source which they probably do, it is possible that the LP sensor that failed pulled the 5vdc down. But I don't see how a fluctuating low voltage would have damaged the crank sensor. Anyway at the moment red is running without codes with a new sensor installed. We will see.. I got a couple mods pending getting this fixded.

Took Red to to town to get a state inspection. Ran fine with no codes. I'm going to call this fixed.

P0339 code equals a bad Crankshaft Position Sensor.
This was a easy diagnoses except it occurred while I was tuning so I immediately thought it was associated with the tuning and throughly back tracked everything I had done up to the point of failure. This was a lot of unnecessary work that had to re-installed. Oh well..
