When it comes to exhaust I have grown to like the sleeper look. I have an ecutout and IMO it looks odd when I have it open and a factory pipe hanging out the back. Most of my vehicles in the past I have hidden the exhaust dumped under the bed. I used to love the chrome tip look but I just got sick of keeping em clean lol plus hidden is cheaper ;-)

Well in my case the tip is welded on. Starting to pit and tired of having to take extra steps to keep it clean. Especially with a diesel. So either, Cut the tip off and buy a new tip or just paint it. Which sounds easier and cheaper? lol

There is my reason why

I know! You were one of the threads I read when doing research on what paint to use. Thanks

Vht header for a flat look
Caliper paint works really well
Rustoleum high temp not so much

And plastic dip works really well
