yeah dude, i plan on runnin these drop control arms up front for a 3'' drop, and out back takin out the overload leaf and puttin in helper bags. which will prolly put me at 5-5.5'' out back. and i might have to get a mild bolt on c-notch for clearence. this is just temporary till i bag the whole truck cuz i wanna do it all at once. prolly take a week out and do everything from start to finish. as promised my current drop is all yours when i finally get this project going. im really shooting for soon though. still have a few things to take care of as soon as i get home... but, hopefully the wife lets me do it. (you know how that is lol)

oh DO i know how that is...are you gonna put stock springs back in when you get the c-arms? removing your overload on a flip will do nothing, you need stock shackles to get you lower with your current kit, or blocks between your leafs and axle...and if you do stock shackles all i really need are your springs and current shackles, ill buy new perches and i bet i can fabb the rest...pm my price too so i know what i gotta come up with...

Just me guessing, but 2" spindles and a 1" chop on the spring is about max for a DD drop without major mods which would include removing inner fender wells.
The bumps shown here are adjusted to keep from rubbing the inner fender well with a stock spring. If you dropped another inch you can just subtract the inch from the space shown.

The rear will require a notch for anything lower than a 4-1/2" drop.
This is all the travel I have with a 4" drop.

I can run at speed on back roads without rubbing with only the occasional hit in the rear. Tight shocks are a must and the Aeon spring I mentioned somewhere and it;s all golden.

im only dropped 2" in the back, thats 2" drop shackles and no overload leaf, remember, so i would be looking for a total of 2/4 all the way around...

A 2/4 is what I have and is IMO a nice setup for a DD.

the website said you cant use the stock springs for the 3'' drop CA's. so im guessin id have to use the springs i have. and as for the back yeah, i forgot about blocks.. maybe i should just shoot strait for the bags, that way im not really wasting money going to a lower static drop then bagging it. its really all about convincing the wife. any suggestions? haha
