Default Fun Problem
So some of you I allready told about this but for since about Feb I have been having this problem where every time I fill the truck up with gas it will stall on me after I drive away. Ive done tons of research and narrowed it down to 3 things.

1. Could be a bad valve on top of the gas tank, but to fix this it would requrie replacing the entire tank because that valve is molded in.

2. Could be a bad vapor canister.

3. Could be a bad vapor purge solenoid.

So today I decided to take off the vapor canister and the purge solenoid, I cant see anything wrong but I am going to replace both of these since they are allready off and they are easier to do.

Anybody ever heard of this problem before?

Yeah at first I thought it was bad gas, and I stopped going to that gas station but now it is doing it almost every time I fill up, so now I run it till empty and only put 20 gallons in.

My wife had an '04 Mazda that started doing this every time we'd take the fuel cap off. You'd have to hold the gas pedal down for it to start and it would run really lean for a few seconds while it built pressure back up. After fighting with the dealer 5 times, they listened to be and replaced the purge valve and fixed our problem

The thought had occurred to me Mike lol

I just hope the dealer parts department is open on saturdays, otherwise the truck is blockin the driveway all weekend. I dont really wanna drive it with that stuff taken out.

Seen the symptoms twice myself, one an '02 4.7 Ram the other an '05 Hemi. But both trucks had a PO441 code. One was fixed with a new purge solenoid, the other if I remember right needed a new PCM.

BTW, I guessed wrong both times. I was sure it was gonna be a cracked hose or broken clamp somewhere in the evap system...
