Default The Ram 1500HD and the quad/crew cab express
What are ya'lls thoughts on them? In case you havent seen it, the 4th gen Ram lineup will offer a 1500HD which is simply a rebadged 2500 with a "Heavy Duty" Hemi engine producing 383HP and 400LB-FT TQ. Has a tow rating of 11,500 LBS and a payload capacity of over 3K.

The Express will now be offered in a quad cab and crew cab configuration with a 390HP Hemi...monochromatic paint, 20" wheels, cruise control, upgraded audio systems...basically a 2WD Sport...with crew cabs starting at around $30K

I hope the crew cab express doesnt get so popular that they decide to raise the prices on it...I mean, that would be the perfect truck for us to ditch the minivan for in a year or two.

The express line is nice for people that want a sport look in either 4x2 or 4x4 without all the sport level frills(bucket seats, console shifter, leather and power seats, etc)

I wonder what they mean by "heavy duty hemi".....cummins?

I really like the new power wagons but think it's stupid they don't offer the cummins in them.

Powered by a 5.7L HEMI V8 good for 383hp and 400 lb-ft of torque complete with a heavy-duty radiator, larger brakes, a beefed up six-speed automatic and a standard Class IV hitch with multiple lighting connections, the Ram 1500 Tradesman HD can tow up to 11,500 lbs with an additional 3,100 lb payload. That gives it the title as the truck with the most towing capacity in its segment.
