Question Need some advice
My son has has been asking for an RC car, my question is whats the difference in speed on them? I have looked at the gas powered one and the electric one. I know nothing about these things so any input would be helpful . Thanks!

Maybe Daniel can chime in as he bought one recently. I studied/researched them quite a bit several months ago. My opinion is the battery-powered ones have come a long way with technology since I've owned one, and they are quite speedy. The gas ones are cool as hell but I believe to be more expensive in initial cost and repairs, if needed. Check out the Traxxas brand. They have a ton of different models in battery and gas. Good luck!

Traxxas Brand is super expensive if you ask me, so I wouldnt get one for a newbie. I broke a few things on mine the first week lol. I did buy a gas powered one, and while it is fun, it can be a pain to start up and there are some things you need to know so you dont mess it up. The electric ones are much easier, you just charge em and go.

I bought mine from this website.

I would check out the exceed brushless RC kits, they haul balls.

Thanks Guys! I think I will get him an electric one. He likes taking shit apart and He would screw up a gas one in a heartbeat!
